Spitfire

This is the Airfix Spitfire, It's the first Airfix model i made. My Boyfriend gave it me as a christmas present a few years ago, after we had watched the James May programme about building a life size Airfix model of the Spitfire.

Building models wasn't anything i ever thought of doing myself, when I was little I used to watch my make airfix models on the kitchen table, I just thought making models were for smart people and not just anybody could make them.

I quite enjoyed making it and since then i've made quite a few models. Which you can see on this page.

The Spitfire is 1/72 Scale.

Sopwith Pup

Sopwith Pup is the second Airfix model I made. It is the same scale as the Spitfire 1/72 scale and is considrably smaller. Sopwith Pup was a fighter biplane that was put into service in 1916.

Fairey Swordfish

fairey Swordfish is 1/72 Scaled again. Building this was a little bit harder than making the Spitfire and the Sopwith pup but it was still quite simple to make.
